Jacksonville Entertainment

Hi everyone! It has been a while since we have last written so we thought we would send a quick update on our past couple weeks here in Jacksonville. After a few weekends of traveling to see family and friends, we decided to lay low in Jacksonville for a while. Last weekend we had a lot of fun! On Friday night, we went to one of our favorite pizza places here, Moon River Pizza. Love it! It gets so crowded around 6:00 the line is almost out the door, so we got there at 5:30 - right before the craziness began. We were happy to find out when we got there, that they actually expanded and added more tables! Yay! No more hovering over people waiting for them to leave! At least for now. haha

On Saturday, Billy and I spent the rainy afternoon going to dinner and a movie! We finally saw Inception and LOVED it. Don't fall for Billy's 1 our of 5 stars, it was a joke. That movie is definitely a 5!! I want to see it again just to see what I missed the first time around. After the movie we used a couple gift cards and went to Bonefish Grill off San Jose. The food was fantastic! I wish we could afford to eat there all the time :-) Billy not only got carded at the bar, but they asked who the second drink was for and he replied "my wife." lol We were the youngest people there.

Our next adventure was Wednesday night for Downtown Art Walk! We love Art Walk. It is held the first Wednesday of each month rain or shine. This month was Pet Walk - everyone brought their dogs! We saw dogs of all sizes roaming the streets of Downtown, most venues even invited them inside. I know I am allergic to cats, but never had an allergic reaction to dogs, until Wednesday. haha We were walking around looking at art when all the sudden my nose and eyes started watering like crazy! So our night ended a little early. Here is a picture of us at the event taken by Jacksonville.com!

The week isn't over! On Thursday night we went to a happy hour event at Design Cooperative hosted by Shaw, Sesco Lighting, and Workplace Resource. It was a lot of fun and we even met a couple that lives near us! They just moved here from Charlotte a couple months ago and are getting married in a month and a half! We can't wait to hang out with them. It is always nice to make new friends, especially when they live nearby!
