Florida/Georgia!

Last weekend was one of the most anticipated weekends of the year... FLORIDA/GEORGIA!

Call us crazy, but Billy and I look forward to this event all year, especially since we moved downtown.  Stephen came up from Orlando to spend the weekend with us. After my Halloween costume contest at work on Friday (I went as a referee supporting the Gators of course) I took a half-day to get home and begin the celebration with the boys!

After a night of walking to and from the Jacksonville Landing (4 miles total) for a pre-celebration, we went to bed in hopes to get enough sleep for Saturday's festivities. We all met up at our place to catch the trolley downtown. Every year we go to our favorite tailgate spot, the Boyd's!! They are always welcoming and have the best tailgate around! We got to spend that time with Stephen, Paula, Darrell, Liz, Tripp, and Liz's family and friends. After tailgating, we began our walk from the stadium to the Landing to watch the game. Of course the Gator's WON!!! (thank god...) Afterward we anxiously walked back towards our place to get something to eat at Mossfire, yummm. Paula figured out that we walked 6 miles that day!

Sunday we were beat! Billy and I spent most of the day laying around doing nothing, and relaxing after our 10 mile workout from the previous 2 days. We officially decided we are getting old and the Friday celebration might have to be cut out of next years schedule. We'll see how well we can resist :-)
Enjoy some pictures from our weekend adventures!
My costume! Not as creative as my brother Kyles...
