Carson is now 1 month away from being 1 year old! I can't believe our baby is turning into a toddler. As I have said before, it is so much fun watching him grow and learn. Being a mom is a true blessing from God and I am so thankful he brought this little man into my life to show me how wonderful it is!
This month, Carson:
Learned to walk!
Started eating with his pincher fingers (thumb and pointer)
Went to the zoo for the first time.
Some things you might not know about Carson:
He loves to sleep in the car. As soon as it starts moving, he falls asleep and takes the longest nap in that comfy chair. However, once he wakes up he wants out!
He loves pillows and soft blankets. He recently started crawling to a pillow on the floor and laying his head down. He also loves to sit on soft blankets and rugs and kick his feet.
He hates getting dressed and diaper changes. Not suprising to mama since he is a boy, but it defintiely makes things hard for mom and dad!
He loves watching and playing with big kids. He is so entertained by his older cousins. He can stare at them all day. I hope they continue to set good examples! :)
He will try anything (food) and let you know when he doesn't like it. So far, we haven't found much he doesn't like. When he is hungry, he can eat!
He loves baseballs, basketballs, and footballs. He is great at playing catch. This is why we chose sports as his first birthday theme.
Carson's Birthday Party with the family is planned for November 10th. We are having it at Grandma and Grandpa Mases house in Ormond Beach since our place is just too small to entertain all of the Mas kids. We only invited family and a couple friends and hope to have something small in Jacksonville the following weekend.
Family photos and Carson's 1st Birthday photos are scheduled for November 3rd. Fingers crossed for good weather, we are taking them on the beach!
