7 Months Old

I can't believe how much Carson has grown physically and developmentally in the past month! In the past month Carson has:

Started eating fruits and veggies
Moved up to the "older kids" room at school (6-12 months old)
Started to show a lot of interest in crawling
Learned to sit up from a laying position (making us lower his crib mattress)
Learned to clap
Grown out of his infant carrier car seat and is now in a big boy car seat
Learned to sit in the grocery cart
Now sits in highchairs at restaurants
Taken his first ride in a baby swing at the park
Gone in the pool

He is now 7 months old and weighs 20lb 6 oz. He grew out of his infant car seat in height, before he did in weight! He is one tall boy!

We are having so much fun with him. Our favorite things to do are go for walks at a nearby playground, play with his toys with mommy and daddy, and read books. He also loves to eat! He now eats breakfast, lunch, and dinner and we haven't found anything he just can't stand yet. He has tried sweet potatoes, mangoes, apples, bananas, pears, peas, green beans, carrots, and squash. Mommy has made and froze banana, sweet potato and mango purees and he loves those too!

During his 6th month we enjoyed mothers day at Grandma and Great Grandma Iovinos', playing with mommy and daddy's friends Lee and Trevor during a weekend visit, and celebrated his first Memorial Day pig roast and weekend with his cousins.

What a busy boy and busy parents! We can't wait to see what month 7 brings!
